The station is located about
2 mi southwest of Davis on the property of the University of
California, Davis airport.
To reach the station from the intersection of State Highway 113
and Hutchinson Drive, just west of the University, go west on
Hutchinson Drive for 1.4 mi to Hopkins Road. Turn left and go
south on Hopkins Road for 0.45 mi to a side road left, Airport
Road. Turn left and go northeast on Airport Road to a dirt parking
area at the airport. Turn right and go south for 0.05 mi to a
gate in a brick wall. Pass through the gate and go south for
0.05 mi across a paved area to an open area. Turn left and go
east for 0.1 mi through the aircraft tie down area to a taxiway.
Turn left and go north along the taxiway for 0.15 mi to the station
on the left.
The station is a punched mark
atop a stainless steel rod. It is 27.4 m west of the center of
the taxiway, 25.6 m south of the center of the paved access road
to the taxiway and 0.9 m west of a carsonite witness post.
